Real Ales
Miliis Dartford Wobbler
ABV: 4.3%, Premium Bitter
The Dartford Wobbler has been our flagship premium bitter from the very first day that she was brewed. Our best seller into the licensed trade and now a permanent feature in our off sale.
She is a tawny coloured, full bodied bitter with a dark roasted malt finish.
Gravesend Guzzler
ABV: 3.7%, Golden Ale
Originally, the Gravesend Guzzler was brewed as a light mild and was a real family favourite. In recent times we have increased the gravity to 3.7% and upped the hop rate which now makes her more of a golden ale.
Guzzler is a refreshing session pint with an excellent dry hop appeal.
Kentish Gold
ABV: 4.6%, Premium Gold Ale
Kentish Gold was a project given to us by the licensed trade here in North Kent.
She is a Golden Ale with a full chewy malt flavour and balanced with strong fruity English hops. The finish is clean, long and dry.
Finchcocks Original
ABV: 3.5%, Golden Ale
A session beer made using hops exclusively from the Finchcocks hop garden in Kent. Tasting notes by Adrian Tierney-Jones, author of the Big Book of Beer: “Mid-gold session beer with hints of the Burton snatch on the nose (think struck matches), while wisps of citrus fruit float around in the background. The palate sings with citrus notes, a hint of resiny hoppiness as well as a crunchy biscuitiness that comes from the malt. The finish boasts more bitterness before a fade-out of grain dryness that reminds the drinker of the beer’s grainy origins. A powerfully flavoursome beer for such a low abv.”
Spirit of Kent
ABV: 4%, Golden Ale
This golden ale is hopped with 9 different types of Kent bred and Kent grown hops in a total of 9 separate additions. That really is the Spirit of Kent – a beer with probably the most types of hops on the planet….?
